As one of the partners in the Erasmus+ project entitled: Higher Education-Enterprise platform for fostering, modernization and sustainable growth in natural stone industry in Western Balkans - BK STONE, the University of Mostar ensured the procurement of laboratory equipment and software in the amount of € 31,500.00.
The public procurement procedure was conducted in two LOTs: LOT1 - specific laboratory equipment, and LOT2 - digital equipment and software, and contracts were signed with selected suppliers.
On 6 May 2021 (Thursday), the first part, LOT1 - laboratory equipment, arrived at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Mostar. It was delivered by the representative and owner of the selected company Omega III d.o.o. Sarajevo, Mr. Perica Mijatović.
The equipment received is as follows: 1. Digital portable device with dual function: for determining point load strength (Pointload test) and for compression tests up to 56 kN (Matest)
2. Dynamic plate "ZORN" with light falling weight of 10 kg and 15 kg and accompanying equipment (GPS + printer + PVC Box)
3. Ultrasonic pulse velocity tester - pocket tester (Matest)
4. Schmidt hammer for rock classification test - analogue with sample holder (Matest)
Delivery of the second part of the equipment by the selected supplier
Imtec d.o.o. Sarajevo is expected by the end of May.
